Spiraled tubes are made using normal MANURIL® and MANULAN® tubes, whose characteristics can be found in the preceding sections.
A spiral tube is defined by :
- The outer diameter of the tube employed.
- Its retracted length.
- Its working length.
- The number of turns.
- The outer diameter of the retracted spiral.
- Colour.
- End terminations, if any.
The working length corresponds to the maximum usable length that allows the spiral to retract after use.
Tubes can also be preformed to any shape, according to customers’ drawings. these parts, compared to steel, resist corrosion, are extremely light, durable and economic. they can be of shapes difficult to obtain with metal.
- MANURIL® workshop spirals
- MANURIL® industrial spiral tubes
- MANULAN® spiralled tubes
They have straight lengths at each end to facilitate use and connections. on request, they can be equipped with male BSPT 1/4” or 3/8” fittings and a protective anti-kink spring.
Standard colour is black with other colours on request.
Working pressure is 20 bars at 40°C.

With better flexibility than polyamide, polyurethane is particularly adapted to the production of spiralled tubes.
Moreover, MANULAN® spiralled tubes have an excellent resistance to impact and abrasion.
They have straight lengths at each end to facilitate use and connections.
Their working pressure is 9 bars at 30°C.
they are equipped with 1/4” or 3/8” male BSP fittings according to tube diameter.
